Created from a curated selection of figured slab offcuts, this piece transforms what would otherwise be wasted timber into a dramatic sculptural form.
Each slab is joined from beneath using concealed fasteners, allowing for natural wood movement despite the opposing grain directions. One corner features a customisable element: choose between a hand-carved, textured block or a stabilised live-edge section reinforced with bowties. Both included.
The larger slabs were selected for their striking cracks and gum veins, arranged to give the impression that one naturally flows into the next. The table preserves the raw character of the timber while refining it into a cohesive, intentional design. A natural finish is applied, ensuring the piece can be easily renewed and maintained for years to come.
Ideal as a low coffee table.
